DayDreamer works with Alibaba Cloud Malaysia on both sides of generative AI — building with it, and teaching it. For the Hari Raya campaign we built a consumer web app that turns an uploaded photo into a personalised Raya greeting video with the user's own face, powered by Alibaba's WAN (Tongyi Wanxiang) video models and a fine-tuned system prompt, shipped live at alibabacloudmalaysia.ai. And we co-hosted an AIGC crash course at Alibaba Cloud's Kuala Lumpur office, taking 80 complete beginners through AI creation hands-on across two sold-out sessions in a single day. Two engagements: the campaign, and the classroom.

Alibaba Cloud is the cloud-computing and AI arm of Alibaba Group, operating cloud regions in Malaysia across Kuala Lumpur and Johor, and running a local office and developer community in Kuala Lumpur. Its WAN (Tongyi Wanxiang) models are Alibaba's family of generative video models that turn text and images into video.
